Ive been on the pill for about 2 years. On and off, I dont take it regularly, like every other month, & I usually miss some pills… SO I havent taken it for about 3 months, AT ALL. My periods are,

July 6th
August 8th
September 5th
& October 5th.

Well I thought that I was pregnant the beginning of this month because my period started BROWN. I was thinking it was implantation bleeding. Me and baby dad were pretty excited until it turned into DARK RED blood. My period usually always starts red and its heavy, this time it was brown and then turned red and is still not heavy. BUT this is the question.. ok. So Monday night I took 2 birth control pills (at the same time) and 2 excedrins (at the same time). I took the Birth control pills because I thought that it would stop my period from coming because baby dad was coming over the next day. I took the exedrins because I get really bad cramps. So my question is..

#1. Did taking those 2 birth control pills affect my chances of conceiving? Did it change my ovulation date?

#2. Were trying to get pregnant during this month, what are somethings that we should do to increase my chances?

#3. How do You do the basal body temp thing?

I’m trying to get pregnant have been trying for months, but nothing. I need help bad.

We TTC#1 for 6 months and I used to ask this same question.

I often hated when people suggested when you stop thinking about it , it will happen.

Well this time I have to say that advice was right.

We just decided to give up TTC in August and I got my BFP yesterday..

It was completely unexpected because it was the last thing on our minds.
We just got back to having fun and BDing when we wanted too.

I know this doesn’t work for everyone but maybe you will get lucky too )

Good luck and plenty of ultra sticky baby dust!!!!
