how easy is it to get pregnant after endometriosis is removed?

Author: I’ve been TTC for 2 years I had endometriosis on my ovaries which was removed last week in surgery. how easy is it to get pregnant once its removed?
My doc didn’t think the scar tissue in my body was endo, so he didn’t remove any except when he sent to the labs. All of the lab samples came back as endo!
So I did Lupron shots for 6 months and just came off those in Jan of 08. It took 3 months for AF to come back and we’ve been TTC ever since then.
I have a 9 yr old from a previous relationship and I didn’t even know I had endo then. I also got PG with a baby I m/c about 2 years ago. We’ve been TTC ever since the m/c but having problems getting pregnant again. That’s when I was dx with endo through the lap and did Lupron and all of that.
So! Don’t give up hope. Even though I’m still trying and it hasn’t happened for me again yet, I’m not giving up. Hang in there!

im sure it will make it much easier. my sister in law has endometriosis and it took her a few years to conceive (she never had it removed)

I had laser surgery on nov 1st 2006 to remove endometriosis. Went to my doctor for a recheck on dec 3rd and I was pregnant!!! So for me it was a few weeks. Good luck to you.

depending on whether any damage was done to your ovaries while the endo was present, you should find ti much easier to concieve.
