How long did it take you to get pregnant using the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor?

Author: How long did it take you to get pregnant using the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor? And do you feel it was use of the monitor that helped? We have been trying for 9 months and now we are using the monitor…just wondering what y’all thought.
I have done fertility monitoring via TCOYF and I have observed my CM. That is why I got the monitor. If you have used the monitor I would appreciate your thoughts.
I really liked the monitor and it helped me pinpoint ovulation. All of that charting crap was too hard, and the monitor made it super simple. I used it for 6 months but did not get pregnant. Good luck to you!

I never used a monitor. I got pregnant the very first month that I tried- here’s my advice…. Throw away the monitor. Counting from the day you started your last period, around halfway through the month you will be fertile- you will be able to tell 2 ways. First your temperature will be higher than usual. Second- there will be a clear rather thick discharge, you’d hardley notice if you weren’t looking for it. When you have it – grab your man and run upstairs!! Also, do no try to have sex everyday- it actually lowers your chances, go for once every 48 hours or so, allowing the sperm to build back up (moer concentrated- better chances) Hope this works for ya!! We used one for about a year with no luck. We’re now seeing an RE and pursuing fertility treatments. We have no cause for our infertility. If you were charting and timing everything okay, the monitor will not help much. Save your money and use a generic OPK. Once you hit a year, consider seeing a RE. I know that’s not what you want to hear but that has been my experience. Good luck.
