If someone got a abortion how easy is it to become pregnant?

Author: A friend of mine had a abortion two weeks ago but love sex I keep telling her she will become pregnant again soon what are her chances?
It is possible to become pregnant any time after an abortion b/c you don’t know when you are going to ovulate again. If your friend does not want to become pregnant again, she needs to consistently and correctly use birth control. Abortions are NOT birth control and can have long term negative affects if used in excess.

Her chances are very good since it happened already. She needs to close her legs and get some birth control. Like I always tell my kids, before you start ask yourself if you’re ready to be a parent.

Abortion is not birth control and shouldn’t be used as such. She needs to be more careful. It really depends on what kind of abortion she had. If it was a Dilation and Curettage then she may be slightly more likely to get pregnant if she has unprotected sex because the cervix was stretched and might make it a little bit easier for sperm to travel into the uterus.
