How likely is it that I could get pregnant?
I’ve been taking birth control religiously since I was 17. 3 years.
I only have 1 fallopian tube. (Instead of ovulating once a month, it’s once every 2 months)
If I stopped taking it and had sex mid-month, could I get pregnant?
We want to try and see if it happens, but if not it’s whatever.
I don’t know which fertile month I am. And as far as the last question goes, we’re both ready and would love a child. We’re just not going to use protection and see what happens.
Of course its possible, but there is obviously less of a chance due to you having only one fallopian tube. It will depend on alot of things.

I know someone who had an ovary removed and she still ovulates every month. Your situation may be different though.
It can sometimes take a few months or longer to get pregnant, but it also happen right away. It’s really up to chance for the most part. That said, why would you be "whatever" about a pregnancy? It’s not like, "oh, maybe I’ll go out to dinner, but if not whatever." A baby is so incredibly life changing. It makes sense to really think about it and discuss what the future ramifications are. Are you really ready? Is your partner? Are you both stable financially? Are you ready to sacrifice everything? It’s seriously tons of work.
